“拓展训练”也叫做“体验式学习”,体验式学习是通过实践来认识周围事物,或者说是通过一系列能使学习者完完全全地参与学习的活动,使学习者真正成为课堂主角的一种学习方式。老师的作用不再是一味单方面地传授知识,更重要的是利用有效的手段,让学习者产生渴望学习的冲动,自愿地全身心地投入到学习过程中,并积极接触、运用相关的知识与技能和在亲身体验过程中掌握知识与技能。生活中任何有刺激性的体验——如在蹦极跳中,被倒挂在空中飞速腾跃时——所拥有的惊心动魄的体验都是终生难忘的。同理,体验式学习也会为学习者带来新的感觉、新的刺激,从而加深记忆和理解。
